It is a welcoming place to ask questions\, join in conversation\, and consider how our Episcopal tradition shapes the way we worship\, understand our faith\, and live it out in our daily lives. \nThe class is for anyone who would like to learn more. You may be new to the Episcopal Church\, a longtime Episcopalian who would like to revisit the basics and go a little deeper\, or someone considering confirmation\, reception\, or reaffirmation. DESCRIPTION:Join the St. Andrew’s Art Guild for a reception and artist talk to kick off our next exhibition Journey: Beyond the Surface by Sheron Smith\, 5:30 to 7:30 at HJ’s Art Gallery. Artist Talk begins at 6 pm. Beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be provided. \nSheron Smith is a versatile and intuitive artist who was born in La Rochelle\, France.  Her formative years in San Francisco ignited a passion for creativity\, but her artistic spirit has flourished in Kansas City\, where she is now a long-time resident. \nHer artistic oeuvre is characterized by a rich interplay of textures and vivid colors\, often reflecting the beauty of her surroundings. Sheron’s journey into abstract art allows her to explore the depths of representation and pure abstraction.
