Featuring Bach’s Coffee Cantata and other works of the great master with St. Andrew’s Parish Choir, St. Andrew’s Singers and soloists accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Coffee, drinks and treats will be offered at Johann’s Cafe.
- God, the Lord, is Sun and Shield (BWV 79) including the well-known chorale Now Thank We All Our God.
- Schlage doch, gewünschte Stunde (BWV 53) featuring Soprano, Allison Fikejs.
- Motet VI: Praise the Lord, all ye nations (BWV 230) sung by the St. Andrew’s Singers.
- Coffee Cantata (BWV 211) narrated by the incomparable Jay Carter with Laruen Auge as the Daughter and Sam Nolte as the Father.
Coffee, drinks, and treats will be served by the HJ’s Brew Crew at Johann’s Café. Tickets are $20 per person or $100 for a table of six; reservations are required. Reserve seats or tables at thomas@standrewkc.org. Payment may be made by credit card, check, or Venmo; please note “Café Concert.” Proceeds support the Choir’s annual spring dinner, travel fund, and concert expenses.
