Summer Read – Trailside Thursdays

Adult Formation has selected Nine Essential Things I Have Learned about Life by the late Rabbi Harold Kushner as this year’s all-parish read. Many of you are familiar with Kushner as the author of Why Bad Things Happen to Good People. In this easy read Kushner offers us, “spiritual food for thought, pragmatic advice, and strength for trying times.” The author relies on Scripture, history, and popular culture to give us a practical guide to living a more compassionate and faithful life. Join us at Trailside every Thursday from May 23 – June 20 for a facilitated discussion of Kushner’s work or get together with friends for a small group discussion.
